ROCK HILL, S.C. -- The rain did not dampen spirits on the day thousands were to convene for Area 11's Special Olympics in Rock Hill. Overnight rain forced organizers to cancel the games for the third time in its 43 year history. "We knew it was going to wreak havoc on the fields at Cherry Park. Mutesi learned to play the game of chess because she says she was starving and they gave away free bowls of porridge. Four trans-Atlantic rowers have been rescued 400 miles north of Puerto Rico after a massive wave capsized their research vessel early Saturday morning.
